Built upon the formidable foundations of Daiwa 23 Saltiga, the new Daiwa 24 Certate SW features Airdrive Design decreasing winding resistance & reducing the weight of the front unit. The new Zaion Airdrive Rotor is what sets it apart from Saltiga, but it’s what it shares with Saltiga that makes this reel so suited to Australia’s harsh conditions.
It all begins with a solid one-piece aluminium monocoque (MQ) body, housing an oversize G1 Duralumin drive gear for increased winding power, strength & gear durability. The MQ body eliminates flex & twisting and improves weather sealing thanks to the one-piece construction with no seams or screws to hold a side plate on.
The Daiwa 24 Certate SW is now available from 4000-6000 sizes in both H & XH ratios. The addition of the 4000 size now puts it firmly in the limelight for a workhorse snapper reel, barramundi or other heavy-duty fishing which doesn’t require high line-capacity of heavy PE line.
The 4000-XH is perfect for anglers looking for a high speed retrieve when a quick line pick up is needed. Ideal for shallow water soft plastics and casting for small pelagics.
The 5000-H is the perfect crossover reel for the inshore and offshore angler. Strength is never in doubt allowing the angler to take this reel anywhere and challenge the largest of fish.
The 5000-XH is suited to the angler wanting a powerful mid-size reel with a faster retrieve. The fast line pick-up allows anglers to react faster to bites when slack line tactics like inshore soft plastics are being used.
The 6000-H is the perfect reel when max power is needed. Ideal for deeper water fishing scenarios such as jigging and deep plastics the 6000-H offers a huge amount of cranking power when you need to stop a fish from getting into structure.
The 6000-XH is a the perfect choice for casting stickbaits and lures up in the shallows. The high speed ratio increases line pick-up allowing the angler to react quickly and put pressure on the fish by clearing any slack fast.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
