Fishing Forecast

Not super weather predicted again for this weekend but to save yourself from moping around the house ALL weekend, this is what you can consider.

With the swells predicted as a messy 1.5m – 2m only protected spots around headlands are going to be pleasant with winds likely to be mostly North/East all weekend. Estuary fishing might be the nicest this weekend though.

Low tides are at approx. dawn and dusk with high tides then in the middle of the day of course.

Peak solunar fish feeding times on Saturday are 9am-10am and 4pm -6pm, with winds predicted as slight in that morning session. Add roughly 40mins to these times for Sunday.

Water temp has risen again through the week up to 19 degrees which is great news for fish activity. With plenty of dirty water around from the rain it is often a great tactic to fish around the tidal marks where the “clean” incoming water meets the dirtier water. There is obvious great opportunities for both mornings to do this on the run-in tides.

Have a great weekend
