The Jackson G-Control Lures are a big favourite of ours and a whole lot of anglers that cast off the beach and rocks for pelagic fish like bonito, salmon, tailor, kingfish and other similar species. They've made a name for themselves along the coasts of Australia and even in Indonesia, and for good reason.
They're extremely versatile lures that can be retrieved both fast and slow. When slowly retrieved they lift, roll and wobble for a prolonged attraction, and then at high speed they're used effectively for land-based angling. Also due to their compact size and heavy weight, you'll get quite a big cast out of them.
The Secret to the G-Control is the 2nd bib on the underside of the lure keeps the lure in the water even on super fast retrievals. So you can really rip them in fast to attract the faster moving pelagics like tuna and mackerel.
There's a big range of very enticing colours available in the Jackson G-Control lures, some accurately representing baitfish, others are just crowd favourites that fish find irresistible!
They have an incredibly good finish that ensures they have a long lifespan and perform time and time again.
The more versatile of the two sizes, the 28g G-Control has proven itself again and again on many typically found beach and rock fish species. Salmon, tailor, tuna, mackerel, queenfish, and other similar species will all take a liking to these lures.
The 40g G-Control is much the same as the smaller one, it'll just give you a longer cast (a fair bit longer too) and target fish that're chasing bigger sized baitfish. Work it just the same as the smaller one, simply target the bigger predators! Be aware that these lures don't come with hooks, you'll have to put those on yourself. The size #1 Shinto Pro Matte Tin Hook are the perfect option here, they're super strong and have a slight curvature on the barb so that they don't scratch the lure up and ensure a great hook up.

Each item in our online store is marked as either a 'Standard Item', 'Large Item', 'Oversized Item' or an 'In-store Only Item', each of which have their own shipping and delivery costs and characteristics.

Orders containing oversized items - custom shipping cost required. After you place your order online as an 'in-store pickup', we will contact you regarding a customised shipping fee (minimum $14.99). Sometimes this fee is low, but if it's too high you can request a full refund.
NOTE: Sometimes we have to split your order and send multiple parcels, if this happens we will let you know and send through a tracking number for each parcel. When multiple parcels are sent we cannot guarantee that they will arrive at the same time.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing large or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
