Daiwa’s Tatula brand celebrates its 10^th anniversary in 2023, and to celebrate a total redesign of one of the most popular baitcast reels in Daiwa’s range, the Daiwa 23 Tatula TW 100. The new model sports a totally new frame design, which now incorporates Hyperdrive Design for the first time. Hyperdrive is the culmination of multiple key-elements with the goal of produce a reel with more winding-power under load, with a smoother & longer-lasting feel. Sporting Daiwa’s unique & award-winning T-Wing System (TWS) for longer casts and Magforce Z braking for trouble-free performance under any conditions. Features:

• Aluminium Body - Lightweight and incredibly strong, aluminium allows strength and weightlessness to be achieved without the cost and corrosion issues of other metals.
• T-Wing System - Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle, minimal friction and constriction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.
• Magforce Z -  The next generation of Daiwa’s magnetic anti-backlash system like Magforce V before it combines the best aspects of modern magnetic and centrifugal breaking, albeit with some slight differences. Unlike Magforce V magnetic braking is only applied at maximum spool speed, as a result it allows the spool to reach a higher peak speed and allows it to spin for longer. Magforce Z is considered to be best suited to longer casting pursuits and heavier weights.
• Hyperdrive Design -  Hyperdrive Design consists of four of the key pillars. Hyper Armed Housing, Hyper Tough Clutch, Hyper Double Support & Hyperdrive Digigear.
• Hyperdrive Digigear - Hyperdrive Digigear is the next evolution of baitcast gear design, taking Daiwa’s Digigear concept delivering a smoother and stronger reeling sensation with a significant 60% improvement to gear durability.
• Air Rotation - At the core of Air Rotation is precision designed and machined gearing, a level of refinement that makes for unrivalled cranking smoothness when under load. Air Rotation is as light as air and as smooth silk.
• Zero Adjuster - Thanks to the revolutionary SV-Concept, it is no longer necessary to adjust the Mechanical Spool Brake Knob when casting. Perfect Zero Adjuster setting is when the spool shaft is held without side to side spool play. Appropriate brake power adjustment is now fully manageable with only the use of the Magnetic dial.
• Alloy Handle 90mm -  The all-rounder of handle lengths is suited to a variety of applications from finesse to mid to heavy-duty angling.
• Infinite Anti-Reverse -  Daiwa's advanced system that limits rearward backplay handle movement to almost zero for solid hooksets with less shock to the reel. The result is the elimination of handle slap-back and the unwanted release of line.
