Chris Wienholt hooked a big 149kg Blue Marlin off Sydney on his new Tiagra Hyper 24kg rod that he purchased just two weeks ago from our Taren Point store.

Jewfish are being caught at Sylvania Waters off the pier.

John fished mid week off the National Park with live bait and managed a fish on most casts, Kingfish, Bonito and Salmon were being caught with a nice 50cm Samson fish.

Customers recently reported they were catching some nice legal Kingfish in Port Hacking in about 20 feet of water. They were fishing opposite Lilli Pilli and using the Muscle Shot 90 Jigs.

Woolooware Bay has been producing Bream, Flathead and Trevally on with soft plastics and hard body lures.

Reports of good Trevally caught around the Tom Uglys bridge pylons.

Shane Barling pulled an all nighter Friday night and which paid off big time, he managed a couple of solid Jewfish over the 1m mark and a few big Flathead as well.

Josh Robbins stopped by our Warrawong store yesterday to buy a couple of new lures, one was the Jackson Pin Tail 35 in colour NKI and the other was the Hata Craw soft plastics in colour CHR. Ten minutes later he was fishing off the rocks and landed a nice Watson’s Leaping Bonito on the Pin Tail and a Snapper on the Hata Craw!

Lake Conjola fished really well over the Easter long weekend with plenty of Flathead, Bream and Whiting pulled from the lake. Fergo tested a new Bottom Magic colour that hasn’t hit the shelves yet and it’s been firing on all of the above species! The almost see-through colour resembles that of a small and pregnant nipper with orange eggs beneath it, the perfect fish food!

Molly the spiral went for her first fish off Green Island chasing Drummer in the washes and loved it, landing three nice pigs in the one short session. She fished with the Chinu Koro Craw alongside a small soft bait to increase the bite and it worked a treat! Steve Saury has been doing a lot of rock fishing lately and was recently rewarded with some nice Drummer and Squid.

Plenty of Dolphinfish have been caught around the FADs with some to 1.2m in length with plenty of smaller ones being thrown in the mix.

Some nice Snapper are being caught around Windang on the Z-man Scented Jerk Shadz col Atomic Sunrise.

The Basin has been fishing well, Snapper & Bream have been on the bite and Jewfish have also been a common occurrence.

Plenty of Kingfish & Bonito were caught in Port Kembla Harbour over the weekend. Watsons Leaping Bonito and Tailor were also around in good numbers.

Mitch Boles fished down south off Bateman’s Bay with a couple others for a nice mixed bag of Snapper, a few Bonito and Squid.

Blue, Black & Striped Marlin are being caught in very good numbers outside on the troll along with plenty of Yellowfin Tuna, with reports of fish to 75kg.
